Space

The farmhouse La Torre del Tabacco is located on a panoramic point from which you can enjoy a unique view of the Oasis and the Tiber River Park.

The large windows make this farmhouse extremely bright. The materials used for the renovation are breathable and healthy. Lime is the main material, both with hemp and with pozzolana. Marble dust is also used, which, when mixed with lime, allows for a bathroom coating of ancient origins and healthy (therefore without the use of glues or resins): it is called Venetian stucco.

In addition to lime, other natural and glue-free materials have been used, such as cork or gypsum fiber (which is quite different from plasterboard).

The floor is handmade terracotta laid fresh on lime.

Heating and cooling are underfloor, so, thanks to the use of terracotta, without adhesives, breathability is ensured, preventing the formation of condensation.

Iron is another material that has been widely used in this renovation.

Supply

The farmhouse is self-sufficient (off-grid). It consists of 90 sqm equipped with everything you need:

three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds, and another with a single bed (for a total of 5 beds);

two bathrooms, one with a shower;

large living room with fireplace;

kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, glass-ceramic radiant plates, coffee maker, toaster, and all the necessary utensils for cooking.

You will also find all the necessary linens, a hairdryer, and bathroom soaps.

In the farmhouse there are two ethernet sockets for ADSL internet connection (the one available in our area). Although it is not a fast connection (since fiber is not yet available), we have chosen to provide this wired connection because, according to our philosophy and to safeguard the health of our guests, we prefer not to use Wi-Fi. If you feel the need, you are free to use your portable devices as you see fit.
But the basic idea is that of a personal reconnection. Do not let yourself be distracted by the outside world. Experience a unique moment in the silence of your thoughts.

As a welcome, you will receive a basket of mineral water with six glass bottles (once consumed, please place the empty bottles back in the basket; we will take care of returning them at the end of your stay).

You will also find coffee and tea.

The farmhouse is cleaned and sanitized with non-chemical products before each booking.

In the WWF Oasis, and therefore also in the farmhouse, pets are not allowed for scientific reasons and to avoid conflict with the local wildlife.

The property is surrounded by nature, although it is well connected to the main towns.

Todi is 8 kilometers away. The nearest supermarket is a 13-minute drive away.

There are no restaurants in the Oasis, but by pressing the button below you will find a wide list of suggestions.
